...more This volume is exceptional for inspiration and motivation. There is an inspirational piece for each twenty-four hours of the year. The author wrote this book from the perspective of a recovering addict, so there are many times where she volition reference the path/program. Still, even if you are not on the path to recovery, this book has so many pieces of motivational greatness. My book has underlined sentences and my own notes scribbled in the margins. I accept bought a copy for my mom... it's simply that practiced. I de This volume is infrequent for inspiration and motivation. There is an inspirational piece for each day of the year. Withal, fifty-fifty if you are not on the path to recovery, this book has so many pieces of motivational greatness. My book has underlined sentences and my own notes scribbled in the margins. I have bought a copy for my mom... it'due south just that good. I definitely recommend all women read this book. In that location are references to "God" also, simply I would encourage all women to input their own spiritual divine into the author's all-encompassing give-and-take "God" because it can really be used for any spiritual individuals. Funny thing is, this book was gifted to me by a man in 1990 who didn't realize information technology was written for women. It took me a year earlier realizing it myself! I laughed out loud the day I realized it! I did notice it had a lot of mentions that I thought were flake tilted toward females, but I just went with the flow. This was one of the best books I ever read that helped me to meet and bargain with my issues in life in a way I understood. Mayhap it fed my Feminine Side, I don't know. i got clean & sober 11/19/89 and a friend gave me this book every bit a gift. i read it every morning when i get up with my 'one' cup of coffee and it'south a adept way to starting time the twenty-four hour period and it has really helped me. i came here today because i was looking for a new i-mine is old and highlighted, written in, to the bespeak where pages are falling out. it's recovery based and god based, i am a christian so i similar that and when it says 'program'....i insert 'god'.......i used to practice meetings but now i know-it'south i got clean & sober 11/19/89 and a friend gave me this book as a souvenir. i read it every forenoon when i get upward with my 'one' cup of java and it'due south a good way to beginning the day and it has really helped me. i came hither today because i was looking for a new one-mine is one-time and highlighted, written in, to the signal where pages are falling out. it's recovery based and god based, i am a christian so i like that and when it says 'program'....i insert 'god'.......i used to do meetings but now i know-it'south god who keeps me make clean. i'chiliad only non a 'meeting' kind of person anymore. i'm going to social club one for a friend who is also in sobriety. ...more
Meditations for women in recovery, arranged by calendar appointment. Full of neat quotes and nuggets of wisdom. Inspiring and cute!
This book is a meditation volume for each day of the year. It's uplifting and it was not bad to share it with my mom and read it aloud to her. Although it says it is for women I believe it is also for men too!

Great morning meditation book. This seemed to have some interesting tailoring between all dissimilar types of twelve footstep recovery from alanon to over eating. It was always a very helpful take on the 24-hour interval.
I have had this book for years! Sometimes I'm great about reading it - other times I forget. The meditations never get old and I go on to acquire from this book. I have had this book for years!
